Earn Cash and Prizes with aShopFor

Posted on 22 Sep 2008 at 2:11pm

Earn Cash and Prizes completing Offers & Surveys.

aShopFor Pays its users for completing various offers. There are better survey sites out there but aShopFor reimburses its newsletters subscribers $10 when they sign up.

Initially, it can be relatively easy to earn a little bit of pocket money through this site. After some time, the offers come less frequently.

Its definitely worth joining to test your commitment to survey sites.

Are you looking at microstock photography but are unsure of where to start? Rasmus Rasmussen has released a Microstock Photographer’s Guide.

This is one of the best resources I have found on microstock photography. It is available in two comprehensive formats: a series of blog posts and a downloadable e-book.

Save Money On Your Health Insurance With iSelect

Posted on 22 Sep 2008 at 10:34am

Finding applicable insurance was one of the most difficult tasks when I first moved out. At 18, I had no idea what plans were applicable to my needs. At 21, it hasn’t gotten any easier. That’s why I’m so thankful for iSelect. The site allows you to compare a wide range of insurance plans so you can find way that directly suits your needs.

I’ve used this on numerous occasions when choosing my health cover. I find that it simplifies the comparison process.

I have heard reports that you can get insurance for less with some plans that don’t advertise with iSelect. They are able to keep the price down by not paying to be advertised on the website.

I use iSelect when doing a basic comparison. I then go away and do more comprehensive of the available plans and my needs. If I don’t feel comfortable with the available insurance offers, I will look externally. I’ll always go back to iSelect when purchasing the insurance to double check that there are no new options.

Never Miss A Sale With Catalogue Central

Posted on 22 Sep 2008 at 10:05am

I hit the catalogues first before purchasing a big ticket item. Sometimes I prefer the security of purchasing from a brick and mortar store. The first place I go to is Catalogue Central.

You type in your postcode and the site brings up all the applicable catalogues. I love this as many catalogues aren’t delivered to my address. I can also find catalogues from stores that are further away should I wish to travel.

Its great for price comparison, especially if you want to compare online and offline options. You can also get the details on applicable promotions without physically having to hit the stores.

Visit Catalogue Central.

Get Loads of Freebies With The Shopfree Newsletter

Posted on 22 Sep 2008 at 9:50am

Shop Free is Australias leading site when it comes to free offers, samples and trials. I used it prolifically 5 years ago and still subscribe to the newsletter.

The site doesn’t earn you money per se, but the free offers can save you a small amount of money per week. The money saved can go towards other items, whether its a savings account or a new item.

I always check it companies offer freebies before purchasing an item. Its also a useful way of getting extra products if your going through a bad month. In the past, I’ve ordered a lot of freebies at once so I didn’t have to buy cat food for a week.

This method takes most of the work out of getting freebies. You can choose from a multitude of offers. Its very simple. You just Join the ShopFree Newsletter and get freebies every month direct to your inbox.
